When I'm not selling Long Lasting LipStick one of the things I like to do is go to baseball games. But, I also like to save money! The way I do that is to go to games in this minor league. The games are fun. The play ranges from so good you can't tell it isn't the majors to so bad it is funny. All the teams also provide fun internet activities, usually involving children. This makes the games a great place to take the kids. I've now attended games in all 5 of the Southern Division stadiums. The newest is Quakes Stadium in Rancho Cucamonga. My favorite is the Inland Empire 66ers Maybe, that is because I used to live in San Bernardino.
If you don't live in one of the California League cities, there are a number of other minor league teams and cities. For instance Las Vegas has the Area 51's. That is a team with a great history. Prior to the majors moving to LA they were the Hollywood Stars of the Pacific Coast league. From there they moved to Las Vegas and played as the Las Vegas Stars for years. Their stadium hosted the AAA World Series several times before it was dropped. Another team is the Albuquerque Isotopes - currently a Dodger farm club. This used to be the Albuquerque Dukes.
